Paper Mario is designed so that, even though the game features a 3D environment similar to that used in Super Mario 64, the characters are flat two-dimensional sprites like in the 16-bit Mario titles, creating the impression of the characters being made out of paper. Both Mario and Peach are playable.

Another difference from earlier Mario games is the game’s narration. The story is made up of eight chapters and a prologue. The start of a new chapter is announced with a cutscene and a scene with a curtain opening, like that of a theatrical production. When the chapter is finished, another cutscene is shown with the curtain closing. The player takes control of Princess Peach or Mario and attempts to navigate the castle while trying no to be seen by Bowser’s guards.

Kirby’s Avalanche

Posted by: admin  //  Category: SNES

In this game groups of two colored blobs fall from the top of the screen. The player must switch and move the groups before they reach the bottom of the screen, so that matching-colored blobs touch from above, below, or on the sides. When four or more same-colored blobs touch, they will vanish, and any blobs above them will fall down to fill in the space. If a person manages to set off a chain reaction with these blobs, rocks will fall down on the other player’s screen. The amount of rocks that falls depends on the number of blobs popped and the number of chain reactions. These rocks will only go away if a player manages to pop a group of blobs that are touching the rocks.
