The player must take control of Elta the Wizard, also the last Magician Lord. Elta is on a mission to save his home land from the evil Gul-Agieze, who is planning to resurrect the god of destruction by using the eight Tomes of mystical power. As Elta the player must fight his way through eight different levels to find each of the tomes before he gets to the final level to seal away the evil god once again.
As you play through this game you encounter enemies in best two out of three combat situations. each character has it own special fighting abilities. Also players have the ability to perform a super attack and a desperate attack when there health is flashing red.
